To learn more about us, this article shares a brief Q&A with Lisa Johnson, Officer Manager of JJ’s Plumbing (and sister of owner, Justin Johnson!).

Q: Please share how you got involved with JJ’s Plumbing and your experience working there.

I became involved with JJ’s Plumbing in 2015. At the time, I was working as an office manager at a medical clinic, and after discussing more with Justin, I felt that he needed support with rebranding himself and his company. I started helping him part time with his network meetings and spent time trying to get a feel of what people really wanted out of a plumbing company. I knew how passionate Justin was about his job and his customers, and knew that he could use some support to spread that message to the public and local communities. I eventually decided to leave my medical office job to join Justin full time at JJ’s Plumbing. I knew no one else would be invested in his success more than his own sister!

Q: As a family owned and operated company, explain the history of the business.

Justin started JJ’s Plumbing back in 2008, where he took on the great task of creating a company that works towards quality work with excellent customer service and not quantity or up sales. He wanted to own a company that he could be proud of, and have is family be a part of its success. I joined Justin in 2015. I have always enjoyed taking a company to the top of its game—and we have done that with JJ’s Plumbing. We believe the foundation of a great company is reliability, honesty and being knowledgeable.

Q: Currently, who makes up the staff at JJ’s Plumbing?

Owner, Justin Johnson, myself as officer manager, our two journeyman plumbers, Matt and Rob, our apprentice and nephew, Austin, and another apprentice, Jordan. We are also currently expanding our team and will have a new addition to announce in the not-so-distant future!

Q: What 3 words would you say defines the team at JJ’s Plumbing?

That’s easy! Honesty. Integrity. Reliable.

Q: What does good customer service mean to JJ’s Plumbing staff?

Making sure our customer needs are met. We believe in open communication and never compromising quality of service and getting the job done right the first time. We are always available to our clients even after a job is complete, and we make sure our clients know we will always be there to make sure everything is in working order.

Q: What are you most proud of the company for?

All of our staff care about our clients. If we can see a way to save you money, our staff will suggest and discuss this with you. And we have completed numerous projects to help out and support our community—whether it is with home teams to help families with their houses, or local sport teams raising money.

Q: In summary, what would you want your customers to know most about the company?

We would like our customers to know that when you work with us, we have your best interest at heart, from the moment we answer your call to years after the job is complete.
